Medensa. A people whose time has come. Our young people don't know the weight of history. They must be made to know the power they possess as it relates to the people who have gone before them. We must convey our struggles in a way that captivates the minds of our youth, and show them how to utilize the hurt, pain, sorrow,joy, tears, and fears of the most resilient people(Medensans) to ever inhabit our planet. When we can impress upon them the gravity of our sojourn and the promise they are afforded because of that sacrifice then we will have made significant progress toward saving our young men and young women. There is a scripture that says : "You can tell a tree by the fruit it bears". A good tree does not bear bad fruit. As a bad tree does not bear good fruit. Medensa is a good tree, and the people who come from that tree are good people. Sometimes when the tree is not tended correctly, then the fruit becomes rotten. The fruit is the best part of the tree as our young people are the best part of us. They must be honored as such. more later

This whole Medensan thing is so on time. If we do the things that are talked about, I could see me calling myself a Medensan. I mean it would be so cool if we started helping each other. Everything we say now about each other is bad. That is such a drag. We just talk about ourselves worse that other folks talk about us.

Keep up trying to get us to raise ourselves up. I applaud you. We could be so grand as a people.

We have not had ethnicity. We do not have ethnicity. We need to know what
ethnicity means. It means that we belong to someone other than ourselves. It
means that we have the right to ask each other for help and expect to receive
it. Everyone has ethnicity but us. We need it now in the worst way.

As a duck needs water, we need what ethnicity conveys. Now is our time.
Now is when we can claim identity. Now is the time we can claim belonging.
It is our time and we must seize the moment through Medensan ethnicity.

You are absolutely right Charlie. Not only should it be in every class room but the Medensan Creation Charter should be in every home. It should be must reading for every student from kindergarten up.

It is a fact that we have not given much consideration to who we are. My eighteen year old nephew told me that he and his friends thought that slavery happened more than two thousand years ago, and that it happened to someon. else.

It is unforgivable on the part of those of us who know to allow our youth to come up in ignorance of our history. The Medensan Creation Charter should be must reading for every Medensan on the face of the earth. It should be in every classroom. Its about time that we come together as one like everyone else.
